MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of York County's Bid Committee for PENNSCYPAA is to create a platform that brings together young and young-at-heart individuals in recovery, providing them with a supportive environment to share their experiences, strengthen their sobriety, and build lasting connections. Through service and organizing a conference, we aim to inspire spiritual growth, foster fellowship and unity, and promote the principles and traditions of AA. We are ultimately helping young alcoholics on their journey in sobriety with emphasis on love, tolerance, and having fun. We absolutely insist on enjoying life!

What is the York Bid Committee for PENNSCYPAA?!

First off, PENNSCYPAA stands for the Pennsylvania State Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous. I know, it’s a mouthful, that’s why we just say PENNSCYPAA!

The York Bid Committee is a committee of people who are bidding for the PENNSCYPAA conference to be hosted in York, which is where it started in 1989.
